Melissa Kuipers writes stories, in varying degrees of truth and made-up-ness. Her collection of short stories, The Whole Beautiful World, was published by Brindle & Glass in 2017. She also writes personal essays and spiritual reflections, and is a regular contributor to The Banner magazine. Her work has been published in literary journals and magazines such as Joyland, Plough, The Christian Century, and Grain. She was a finalist for the Rusty Toque Chapbook competition and winner of the 2018 gritLIT non-fiction competition. She lives in Hamilton, Ontario, with her husband and two children.
